Essential oils (English)
Introduction
On this page, you will find doTerra's essential oils. I chose these oils because, firstly, they are organic and concentrated, and secondly, in my experience, they are the only ones not diluted with chemicals or other additives. This is something I have noticed with many other brands. This also makes doTerra's oils very potent and versatile. What many other brands do not offer, but doTerra does, is that many of their oils can be ingested. This speaks volumes about their purity.
Behind some names, I have also included other names in parentheses, such as Touch. This means that these oils are also available in other forms, such as a bottle for applying to the skin. You can find more information about this on the doTerra website.

In ancient Egypt, the blue lotus was considered a sacred plant, often depicted in art and used in ceremonies. The flower symbolized purity, rebirth, and spiritual enlightenment.
In Buddhism, the blue lotus represents the victory of the mind over the senses and is associated with wisdom and knowledge.
In Chinese culture, the lotus symbolizes honesty, goodness, and beauty. In Hinduism, blue lotus represents eternity, the universe, prosperity, and beauty.
Blue lotus oil is associated with the crown chakra (Sahasrara), the energy center associated with spiritual connection and enlightenment. Using blue lotus can help open and balance the crown chakra. This supports deeper spiritual awareness and inner peace. In addition, the flower is used in various spiritual traditions to deepen meditation and achieve a higher level of consciousness. The scent is often used in women's circles (where, unfortunately, a synthetic variant is often used).

How it works
Respiratory & Airways: Peppermint and Lemon (limonene) support healthy breathing and help keep the airways open, especially for seasonal ailments like hay fever.
Immune System: Lemon oil, due to its limonene content, can support a healthy immune response.
Calming Effect: Lavender oil provides a calming and balancing effect on the body and mind, which is helpful during seasonal stress.
Protection: The combination provides protection against seasonal and environmental elements, helps the body cope with threats, and supports the immune system.
Spiritual and Emotional Uses
Meditation & Yoga: The aroma (used through a diffuser or diluted on the skin) can promote a sense of calm, balance, and contentment, similar to the oils in the 'Peace' or 'Serenity' blends, but with a fresh, cleansing note.
Mood: The combination helps calm emotions (Lavender), stimulate clarity (Lemon), and refresh the senses (Peppermint), leading to a more balanced, positive state of mind.

Taken orally in softgel form, making it convenient for on-the-go use.
Can be used daily during periods of seasonal allergies or environmental exposure.
